OCC Lip Tar tutorial!

I’m really excited to show you guys my thing. I’ve worked really hard on this, and I’d really appreciate feedback!

I’ve been away for a while now, haven’t I?

Hello my lovely little honey badgers!

First of all, I feel the need to apologise to you all for my absence lately! I would love absolutely nothing more than to be making content for you guys on the daily, but I’m sure you all know the life of a uni student. Between work and the ever rising pile on uni work I have to do, I’ve not found a lot of time to be doing looks at all. On top of that, the stress that a looming due date gives is wreaking havoc on my skin as well, and nobody wants to see that – let me assure you.  In two weeks though, I’ll be finished with semester and will be smashing out some super fun looks I have planned! So please stay tuned – I haven’t bailed!

The images in the header were all sourced from MAC’s Facebook page. I like to keep an updated list of my most recent makeup inspiration, and I’m absolutely loving what they’ve got going on lately! I’d love to know what your favourite looks this season have been, be it festival, fashion or other. I know the looks of Kylie, the youngest of the Kardashian clan have been popular!

NYX haul and swatches!

I recently picked up a small NYX haul online! I picked it all up from during their recent sale. The package was shipped very quickly, and the packaging was very sturdy and thorough. 10/10, Blue Scandal.

I bought 3 Soft Matte Lip Creams and 4 powder blushes.
In the lip creams, I purchased Cannes, Transylvania and Copenhagen, and in the blushes I came away with Taupe, Ethereal, Silky Rose and Spice. Let me tell you, I could have bought SO much more. Before this mini haul, the only thing I’d owned from NYX was a couple of the Jumbo Shadow Pencils in Milk and Blackbean, and now I’m regretting not purchasing everything they sell. Everything.

The formula of the Matte Lip Creams in interesting. Because they’re matte  it’s a little drying, but with a bit of balm pre-application it’s nothing to write home over. The blushes are absolutely beautifully pigmented, and so smooth. Not even remotely chalky! They blend like a dream and come in an array of positively stunning shades.
Now let’s get down to swatches!
